Submission Policy
How to submit
Manuscripts are submitted only through the journal's online system (OJS) at https://ijamsresearch.org/index.php/ijams/about/submissions. Authors must register and log in to submit. Submissions by email are not accepted, except where technical problems prevent online submission.
Article types accepted
Original research articles; systematic reviews and meta-analyses; scoping, narrative and other reviews; case reports; clinical audits and quality improvement studies; short communications; commentaries and expert opinions; letters to the editor; and conference abstracts and posters. Word limits and structure for each type are given in the Author Guidelines.
Required files and statements
- Title page (title, all authors with full affiliations and ORCID iDs, corresponding author with a valid institutional or personal email address).
- Anonymised manuscript (no author names or affiliations), prepared using the journal template.
- Ethics approval statement (committee name and reference number) and informed consent statement, where applicable.
- Conflict of Interest and Funding statements, and ICMJE disclosure forms for all authors.
- Author contribution statement (CRediT roles are recommended).
- Data availability statement.
- AI use disclosure, where applicable.
- Cover letter confirming originality and that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere.
Submission conditions
- There is no submission fee. Charges apply only after acceptance (see the APC Policy).
- All authors must agree to the submission and to the order of authorship.
- Authors must agree to the Open Access Statement and Copyright Policy and to the Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement.
- Incomplete submissions are returned to the authors before review.
Withdrawal
Authors may withdraw a manuscript at any time before acceptance, free of charge, by writing to the editorial office. Withdrawal after acceptance is possible only for serious reasons and must be approved by the Editor-in-Chief. Published articles cannot be withdrawn; they are handled under the Retraction and Correction Policy.
